Edison Sun is an second-year undergraduate at Northwestern University, pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, B.A. in Integrated Science, and a B.S minor in Computer Science. He is interested in the intersection of robotics with medicine. As a Undergraduate Research Assistant, he previously has developed a robotic visible-light optical coherence tomography system to image beyond the optical field-of-view limit. Currently, he is developing image segmentation neural networks to assist in the risk prediction of aortic pathologies.
